After turning out one of last season’s best installments of Saturday Night Live, Emma Stone is back to continue her reign as the wizard of awesome. From the looks of this SNL promo for this weekend’s episode, the actress is willing to commit to every bit, showing off her range from comic gem (“I’m hosting Emma Stone this week, with musical guest Coldplayâ€) to flat-out adorable leading lady. (Check out her hilarious meet-cute with Fred Armisen.)
Emma Stone hopped on the Saturday Night Live stage last night to kick off the show, hosting the late night laugher for the second time in an episode that included a couple of raunchy sketches.
But her rather tame opening monologue with a Spiderman-costumed Andy Samberg (and her real Amazing Spider-Man co-star Andrew Garfield) was not the least bit indicative of what was to come.
Emma Stone also played a contestant on the “Secret Word” game show in which she faced off against Wiig’s overdramatic Mindy Elise Grayson character, as a Miss America winner who makes out with her own ventriloquist dummy during the game.
Emma Stone made made her second appearance as “Saturday Night Live” guest host this weekend (Nov. 12) and we’re really glad Stone, who knows a thing or two about comic timing, came back.
Emma Stone opening monologue she’s visited by not just one, but two Spider Men: Andrew Garfield and Andy Samberg. Guess which one delivers the line: “Sorry Gwen, I don’t have time to bone. I have to fight Green Goblin. Oh wait, Green Goblin just canceled, we can bone now.”
